What motivates you to keep on going everyday?

For me:
1) knowing that God is watching over me, keeping me safe.
2) Knowing that I'm surrounded by people who love and care about me.

Knowing that I live in the USA where I have rights as a woman and I have the right to vote. We have a government that has order and some structure and knowing that I'm safe when I walk out the door and I don't have to worry about being blown to pieces. I'm lucky that I have people who love me and a home to call my own. Waking up everyday to the sun shining in my room and knowing it's going to be a new day.
I can go to work and be able to make my money and pay my bills and try and have a good life and not worrying about if I'm going to starve or live hand to mouth.
Also, I know that I came in this world with nothing and I will leave this world with knowing because materialism ain't worth a sh** and love is something I need everyday because some aren't as lucky as others.

Beer 30, at least that was when I was still in the service.
When in Iraq, my squad's mentality; "F*$& You I'm going home!"
Now, I don't really know, just the fact that I don't know what happens after life so why find out so soon when there is so much more to do here in this world.
So I guess beer 30 is my final current answer, and yea I do think that's serious.

3. Knowing that one day Religion will die... Well maybe not that but mosty the debate over who's is better I just want everyone to agree to disagree and quit killing each other over it! Just let everyone think what they want!!
4. Knowing that Johnny Depp is still alive
5. The thought of one day having my own children to watch and love and not have to worry about others taking them away bc they decided they want their kids now... Yup. No one elses children to take care of .. Just my own. Yeah mostly this ...

It sounds so cliche but it's true...my two sons are what I wake for every day. They are the best thing I've ever done in this world and, even though it's a tough job sometimes, I love them more than anything and want them to be ready for the world.

Honestly, I don't know. Maybe because the alternative is worse. I'm having a very hard time now just being positive. I need to find sometime inside...the outside world hurts too much.

Well I'm here so I figure that I might as well make the best of it. I have a beautiful 3 year old daughter and I'm thankful that I can be a part of her life.

hoping to earn a wealthy persons income so that I may be able to get laid other than by my wife .... and now that I have a son the hope that I can see him grow into a man to hopefully have an easier life than I had ... well not neccassarily "easier" but I want him to understand his options and clue him in on certain traps in life that I got caught in so that hopefully he has a better shot than I did ... but ultimatley fast money and faster women keep me goin ....

ooooh extreme high quality use of language there ;) For me, i think of that understanding that existence is a trifling journey, and that what comes after is eternal, thats what keeps me going i think. I additionally think of that certainly one of our applications is to go away the international a much better place than it became in the previous you got here into it...

My 3 year old boy and 5 year old girl...but then again, I'll bet you get many that Moms/Dads that answer this way.
My world changed the moment they entered it...what a wonderful (and sometimes challenging) change.

Sometimes, I wonder too. I think just knowing there is something bigger than us and that though some days feel really long, this is a brief time we spend in these bodies.
