I am confused, what is your question?

The only way to make the change easy is to somehow allow things to develop in a way that HE realizes that he needs to go and his big worry is how to make it easy for YOU.
Then pretend to be lots more upset than you really are - because it will be a relief when he takes the initiative to break up.

Breaking up is never easy. You will hurt and it will take time. You can help yourself by occupying your time. Keep busy, go out even if you don't feel like it. It will make the time go faster and remember that it was for the best and it's better to be happy alone than with someone unhappy.

hi hon... the best thing you can do is realize it takes time to heal and to learn to cope with the loss.

perhaps you could find a new hobby and spend time with family and friends for distraction and when you can? just keep busy and productive.

i'm sorry you are hurting. take care.

(you can also do a search about coping with a break up if that might help - i'm sure there is a lot of self-help info on the web).
