Great company in business for 22 years! I saved $500 at the dentist and $40 on prescriptions with their Dental Plan which is very affordable (19.95 mo). How could a company be a scam if it's been in business (at the same location) for 22 years?

This is NOT a scam! It's NOT MLM marketing, but it is Network Marketing and it's a legitimate home-based business. Just like any work-at-home opportunity or job, you need to put some effort 15-20 hrs a week but that work you do is into creating your business. The Freedom at Home Team actually gives you all the resources you will need to succeed; like back-office training, daily tele-conferences, personal sponsor to help you every step of the way, and you are finding customers for our Health Benefit or Retailer Discount services or recruiting others to work for Ameriplan. They become your customers and you get an extra commission for training them, but that's not the main focus of the business. A MLM marketing company is just referring people under you without a product or service and that's NOT the case here. For a fraction of other home businesses (a small investment and tax deductible), you get everything you will need to be successful. It's all about your determination to stay on track with training and scheduling appointments for your customers. I work for this company and I couldn't be more excited! I actually get paid and love the health services and discounts that are given to me as well! It all depends on the support of your sponsor, but I make a point to stay in communication with my team and keep them informed with new training techniques. You got good reason to suspect that all work at home proposals are scams, becuase in over 90 % of the cases, that is exactly what they are. Get a real job, forget this stuff, and save yourself a lot of grief down the road.
