..through the hurdles?

Is it okay for anyone to want to get things right the first time, and how many people actually do?

Have you seen anyone who has never really failed, maybe not for all aspects of life, but for some?

For instance, (just an example), a straight 'A' student gets straight 'A's throughout their educational path, gain their honors and presidents' scholarship or doctorate?

Have these people actually experienced defeat or failure, even a major setback, to their educational path, I mean. I know that alot of academics are perfectionists and suffer from internal stress like depression.

If you failed in an aspect of life, can you redeem yourself, considering everything is accumulated and used to show as a step for the next level?

and job experiences, titles..
jail points.. the usual..

you're graded externally no matter if you want it.. but internally is a different matter. The spirit is free

Your question is all over the place. Look, there is a huge difference between school and life. In school, if you study hard enough to get the answers right you will succeed. It is not that simple in life.

In real life the only people who have never experienced failure or defeat are people not doing something worthwhile or challenging or have never tried to make a process more efficient. In other words anything worth achieving is going to have setbacks.

I know of no one who does not try to get it right the first time. But what if you are the one writing the manual?

Even though failure is never pleasant, I think it is a great opportunity to learn what to do better or differently next time. I was that straight-A student you talked about in your question- went all the way through high school and college with all kinds of praise and good grades, so imagine my shock when I got fired from my first professional office job out of college! The circumstances for being fired led me to learn how to be a better office worker and how to adapt myself to other people's work styles. It also taught me that I may have had a near perfect GPA, but I still had a LOT to learn.

Same with personal failures, like failed relationships. Every heartbreak I have ever suffered just served to teach me something about myself in the long run. Life is a trial and error experience, and if you're lucky, you'll have several people along the way who serve as mentors and confidantes, but at the end of the day, it is up to you to either crumble under a failure, or come back stronger and better from it with a valuable lesson under your belt.

I think most people learn most valuable lessons about life through personal experience. Of course everyone needs a mentor, and much can be learned from these people, but truly - whats to be learned from second hand experience? People who have everthing handed to them , learn very little.

Secondly, you asked if you can redeem yourself after failing at an aspect of life, as if you were accumulating points to move to another level....... I find it a bit disturbing if people truly feel this way about life. Sure, you have people you dont want to let down, but really, in the end, its all about you. Its your life, and if you are happy about your life in the end, thats the only grading system that really exists. I wouldnt suggest living your life as if everybody else were watching you and taking notes, and grading you.

Yes! I learnt & I have a guide who helped & encouraged me through my troubles my depressions!
It is not necessary to get things right for the first time--perfection comes after practise!
It is possible to redeem yourself out of the deepest gloom as there is a light in everyone's heart which shows you the way! Even if you deny---------
