I mean seriously... why would a person design such an article of clothing? Isn't it like walking around with a noose around your neck?

I hate wearing neckties NOW, but when I was first starting out in business, I liked dressing in a shirt and tie and slacks. That lasted for a few years and I got about as sick of it as possible. It's not bad if you only have to do it once or twice a year, but every freaking day, it's nuts.

Yes. I totally hate them. But they were designed to hide the buttons on your dress shirt.
Although I see many skate boarders wearing them with concert T's(new fashion statement)

Yes, we call them "foreskin restraining devices" it keeps the foreskin from popping over the d**k-heads who wear them.


Historically, it was Henry The 8th who started the fashion by wearing a cravat around his neck to hide a goiter.

I agree! But, it's an easy way to get rid of small amounts of really ugly fabric.
