The fact that high school is simply molding today's youth towards a consumer based society where there is no free thinking at all. The fact that the events are stressed more than the causes in history classes. The fact that the one subject whee free thinking is remotely encouraged, English, has been beaten down to a syllabus where all kids read the same things and think the same things about what they have read. Gone are the days of self interpretation, and forming our own opinions.

They are doing construction on my high school. We go back Wednesday, but I walked by with friends to check it out. Surprisingly, the doors were wide open and there was no security. We walked into the new wing and it was so much more modern looking... black lockers, bright lights, and white boards. The hallways were a lot wider too. They really surprised me-- our school board finally did something good for once.
I hate the constant stress and homework. I have a life, and it seems like I am constantly slammed down with a ****load of work. And the whole "I'm gay, you probably think it, we all know it, but we aren't going to say anything" on top of all of that, I really do get stressed out at times. I procrastinate and somehow that's my way of reducing the stress.

I hate everything about it! The homework, the exams, the peer pressure, gym, teachers, having to be like everyone else to get just a little attention, school totally sucks!

I hate having to wake up early, travel all that way, get there to a freezing cold classroom, full of morons, and know that I have to spend the next 6 - 8 hours of my life there!
Yeah, it sure does suck being a teacher!!

Copying endless overheads and tests. Sometimes the teachers. Waking up early and the classrooms are way too cold in the morning and way too hot at noon.

The most annoying thing, above having to get up early or the nasty people there is the fact you HAVE to go there. Its annoying doing exams, but more anoying knowing that I have to if I want to go to University :(

Its the school busses for me. Around here they stop at virtually every driveway to pick up a kid. It adds 30 minutes at a minimum to a 12 mile commute.

As a teacher, I hate when kids don't listen, screw around in the back of class, forget to the put their name of a paper, or write in penmanship I can't read. Otherwise, I love my job!

I just hate having to meet so many deadlines. Some teachers really seem to hate their jobs, too.
