I want to buy a new boat i've rec'd letters in the mail from boat dealers about year end clearent which is the best brand for a good price on a inboard/outboard?

you need to be way more specific on what type of boat you want to get, how big of a boat, what your intended purpose for the boat is, and if you have the capability of putting some of the boat together yourself. I mean I can get you a boat for $400 thats good, or a boat for a $4million thats even better.

I don't like inboard/ outboard it changes the direction of power too many times, from an engineering stand point, the design SUCKS ! Go with an outboard, go with a "Boston Whaler", you'll have no problem selling a "Whaler" if you decide that "Boating" is not for you, other boats depreciate much faster, and it won't sink, an important part of any good breakfast !

I would look at several models and decide what options I want, how the boat fits into what I want to do with it, then compare models having those features. Everybody has a personal favorite model or brand, like asking should I buy a ford, Dodge, or Chevy, its all personal preference and affordablilty

On today's market there are many to chose from make a list of what your using the boat for, weight carried, sleeping in, galley, head, fuel,top, speed, people carrying. Water used in ETC. then with that list ask a sales person what boat>?

quality- get a sea ray, cobalt, or boston whaler
best price- get a bayliner
skiing/boarding- get a mastercraft or nautique
MY FAVORITE= the new sea doo or yamaha boats, they're jet powered, fun, fast, easy to drive, and cheaper than others.

get a boat, theyr tons of fun and they make the best memories in the world.

what type of boat are you looking for? cruising, fishing, skiing, off shore, most boats now are for a specific propose
