Wow, well I'd say you've tried most of the decent american dubbed animes. Try some Japanese imports, some of the more obscure ones can actually be fairly enjoyable.

I've had the opportunity to view several anime series in my time; both on television and that I have bought myself. Most I have found very entertaining, as like you, I am a fan of action anime. Here is a list of some of the anime I have enjoyed in that catagory:

Outlaw Star, Berserk, Ghost in the Shell, Bubble Gum Crisis, Burst Angel, Samurai 7, Basilisk, Gundam Seed, Record of Lodoss War, Soul Taker, Project Arms, Heat Guy J., Godannar.

These are all action anime some a little more so than others. They are of different genres as well. I think you would have an enjoyable experience viewing any of them, and I hope you have as good a time watching them as I have.

You don't seem to have a problem with subs, so I say definitely go with Claymore and give Darker than Black and Kaze no Stigma a try. These are 3 currently ongoing actions shows that have been pretty amazing.

Code Geass, Fate/Stay Night, Noir, and Hellsing are some really good action series that have already concluded.

i also recommend claymore

claymore is about the violent coexistence of humans and human-eating monster called yoma. there are females that have become warriors by becoming part-yoma for their own reasons. humans shun these warriors, and call them claymores. the claymores work for a secretive organization to eliminate yoma. the storyline revolves around the adventures of clare, a claymore who has her past and a companion named raki. as the story gets further, clare grows stronger, from her original rank of 47, the lowest, and learns more about the organization she works for. i did not copy and paste any of this from another source ^_^

Heres a good one its called tactics its about a guy who is a detective in spirits and used special magical charms to kill demons.Along side helping him is a goblin (that takes form of a human of course) Helps him eat the demons.

Even though some are short, I highly recommend these.........

Elfen Lied - horror/gore/action/drama - a very deep, psychological anime. More like a dark romance drama. This show contains lots of gore and some ecchi. In my opinion, its a very good, but twisted anime. 13 eps

TOKKO - action/drama/gore/comedy; similar to Elfen Lied and D. Gray-man. Synopsis: survivors of the Machida massacre fight to save the human race from demons and symbiotes.... 13 eps

Utawarerumono - action/romance/drama/ecchi etc. This is an awesome anime series. Combines many elements that define a great anime.Synopsis: a man suffering from anmesia becomes emperor and constantly battles to maintain peace with his people and himself. Check it out, you'll love it! 26 eps

Tenjho Tenge - drama/action/romance/ecchi; Synopsis: Two teens enroll in a school where beating up your classmates is part of the curriculum. In my opinion, this anime has some of best fight scenes of all that I've seen so far; the graphics are cool; If you love martial arts fighting and suspenseful plot developments this is the anime for you.

Ikki Tosen - action/drama/ecchi; is like Tenjho Tenge, but has more ecchi and suspense. 13 eps + 12 eps (Dragon Destiny)

Devil May Cry - gore/action/horror/drama - based off the game, Devil May Cry (DMC), this series follows Dante and his devil-hunting business, Devil May Cry, as he struggles with constant financial debt. Similar to Cowboy Bebop. 6 eps(ongoing series)

Jyu Oh Sei- action/adventure/drama; excellent anime series. Check it out! Synopsis: "Survival of the fittest"; a boy fights to live in a world full of man-eating plants and 'convicted' criminals to become the Beast King. 11 eps

D. Gray-man - action/comedy/drama/horror; Synopsis: Allen Walker is a member of the Black Order, a group of Exorcists connected with the Vatican. Their mission is to stop The Millennium Earl, an evil being planning to cleanse the world by destroying all the humans in the manner of Noah's great flood. This is a great series, check it out! Similar to Trinity Blood. 52 eps

Darker than BLACK - action/drama/suspense ; a very good series thats similar to TOKKO and D.Gray-man; Synopsis: survivors from Hell 's Gate fight to protect the world from Contractors (superhumans) check it out! 25 eps

Wolf's Rain - action/drama/gore/horror -
Synopsis: a pack of wolves masquerating as humans are searching for "Paradise." Check it out! 26 eps + 1 ova

Witch Hunter Robin - action/horror/drama; similar to Darker than BLACK; Synopsis: professional witch hunters hire a new associate. 26 eps

Ghost Hunt - horror/action/drama; This is the anime version of " The X-Files" , filled with mystery, scary scenes and the supernatural. Its worth a look! Similar to Darker than BLACK. 25 eps

Basilisk - action/drama/gore/ecchi; 2 clans, (Kouga vs. Iga) battle it out in this series; the animation and fight scenes are excellent. 24 eps

Gensomaden Saiyuki - 50 eps + 2 ovas
Saiyuki Reload - 25 eps + 1 ova
Saiyuki Reload Gunlock - 26 eps
Action/drama/comedy - placed in sequential order, these are more guy-oriented (seinen) type anime.The Series grows on you later on particularly when you get to the Reload/Gunlock seasons. Contains smoking, swearing and lots of fighting, overall, its a very entertaining series. Synopsis: 4 reluctant men travel together on a quest to Sangri-La while constantly battling demons. I preferred the subbed version.

The Twelve Kingdoms (Junni Kokki) - action/drama/angst/comedy; similar to Saiunkoku Monogatari and Fushigi Yugi ; this cool anime has excellent animation and character development...this is a must see series, plot involves central heroine's psychological/emotional trials and triumphs as she grows from a "wishy-washy" highschool girl into the bold queen of Kei. 45 eps

Kyou Kara Maou! - action/comedy/fantasy/drama; some might be put off because of the slight touch of shounen-ai in this series, otherwise an excellent series. This is not yaoi. Its worth a look.Synopsis: Highschool boy gets sucked into a toilet to a world where he is the new maou ( demon king). 78 eps

Nightwalker- this is a nice action/horror/romance/drama series. This is about a vampire detective's trials and life experiences. 12 eps

Tactics - comedy/action/drama/shounen-ai ; this series is really good. Its worth a look. synopsis: a boy extorcist befriends an oni-eating tengu. 25 eps

Shounen Onmyouji - fantasy/action/drama ;similar to Tactics, but has a little more romance. Synopsis: A young onmyouji (similar to an exorcist) goes around defeating and purfiying demons/spirits etc. with help from the 12 shikigamis. 26 eps

Ayashi no Ceres (Ceres: Celestial Legend) - Horror/comedy/romance/angst; Synopsis: A girl learns that she carries the cursed lineage of a tenjo. Her family learns of this and wants to kill her......This anime will pull on your heartstrings and some scenes are quite graphic, otherwise its a very good series. 24 eps

Fushigi Yugi - romance/fantasy/comedy/action/ reverse harem; similar to Saiunkoku Monogatari. Made by the same creator as Ayashi no Ceres. main story: girl travels to another time to furfill her role as a priestess of Suzaku.
52 eps + 2 ovas

Saiunkoku Monogatari- fantasy/drama/comedy/reverse harem anime; a very interesting series, you have to watch it; similar to Fushigi Yugi. Synopsis: a heroine helps a lazy prince step up to his role as emperor. 39 eps + 25 eps (2nd series)

Haruka Nara Toki no Naka de Hachiyoushou - Fantasy/drama/action/reverse harem; similar to Fushigi Yugi and Saiunkoku Monogatari. A very interesting series. A girl summoned into another world is told that she must defend this world, called Kyo, from the Oni Clan. 26 eps

Inukami! - romance/comedy/harem/drama anime, be aware of the ecchi...... especially the elephants.....lol. 26 eps

Love Hina - romance/comedy/drama/ecchi; very similar to the Tenchi series and Inukami! 25 eps + 1 ova

Golden Boy - comedy/ecchi/drama - this anime is ridiculously funny! A guy goes around the country documenting women and his experiences with them. Check it out!
1 ova ( 6 eps)

Green Green - romance/harem/comedy/ecchi; anime contains extreme ecchi (borderline hentai). The ova version can be considered hentai. Synopsis: Some students from an all-girl highschool get to experience "co-ed " life with the opposite sex. 13 eps + 1 ova

Tonagura! -romance/ ecchi/comedy/drama;
Synopsis: a perverted boy tries to win his childhood friend's love; check it out! 13 eps

Ichigo 100% - romance/ecchi/drama/comedy
Synopsis: highschool boy is obsessed with strawberry-patterned panties can't decide which girl he loves the most.
26 eps + 2 ovas

Chobits - is a nice romance/comedy/ecchi series;this anime is about a boy and his robotic girlfriend. 26 eps + 1 ova

DearS - comedy/ecchi/harem/romance is like Chobits, but with more ecchi and more comedy. Synopsis: A boy arrives home to find a beautiful alien girl that wants to his "DearS"
