I say America just because I am so use to living here and I think that America is a great place but so are other countries in different ways, it just depends on what you want out of life.

The United States - despite its faults - is the place I consider the best place to live.

The United States is the beacon of liberty for the world.
The United States Constitution is the blueprint for freedom and self government.
The Bill of Rights guaranteeing, amongst other things, freedom of the press, speech and religion (or no religion)
The United States is the most prosperous land in the history of the world - sometimes a detriment, but more often a blessing to those who live in the United States, and those who live throughout the world.
The United States is generous.
The United States welcomes the best - best products, the best arts, the best food, the best athletes. But The United States also welcomes the least - your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed.
The United States is blessed with a wealth of resources and a variety of land and beauty.

I would definitely think that it is my home country, Singapore. This is where I was born. This is where my life began. This is where my life started to take shape and develop into what it is today. This is the country that provided me with all the resources I needed so that I can live such a healthy life to where I am today. This is where I will truly call home and feel at ease in. Hence, there is no better country to live in than your own home country. For me, it'll be Singapore.

United States. Without a doubt, a country that allows people to pursue their economic dreams will always make the pie bigger for all. Business is what made this country great and the fall of the Soviet Union 20 years ago proved that socialist economic ideas flat out don't work.

Switzerland. In a world filled with war-mongers and victims, it would only be safe to live in a country up in a mountain that says "I'm not getting involved" sad but I feel its true. Neutrality seems to be the only answer.

subjective question.

i like america, for now; land of opportunity. might be better off with a country with longevity though. america is slipping with immigration; soon we will be transformed into the countries we tried not to be through amnesty and social services. i always wanted to be poor like mexico....

dont want to be there for the civil war coming.

so possibly austrailia(sp?). the uk is nice, but they are not very friendly people. not france. i could live in amsterdam for a few.

too many to decide.

I see some people who like countries with free heathcare. I don't want "free" healthcare. It's not free. It comes from taxes - your money. The more people allow govt to take care of them the more govt has say in the way you l. Kinda like being an adult child. Not for me.

"I want govt to take care of me because I can't take care of myself" (that's progressive?)

I choose USA. I choose the freedom of choice as a consumer.

Side note. "free" healthcare is only cool when you are young and have no real health problems besides the occasional STD or sniffles.
