I chose to be short because if I decide to, I can move virtually undetected through a crowd of any size. Also a coy smile, and "Excuse me sir, I cant reach this, can you help me?" is a great conversation starter. Also, being small and cute has many advantages in lines, at public functions, and in all sorts of other situations where the opposite sex will fall all over themselves to help you out because you are small and cute.

its not a choice its how they're made, but i think that consumer demand drives everything and they make things for general population. Extremely fat people, midgets, giants, all have a hard time using things designed for the general population.
