I'd feel really guilty if they paid for everything, no matter what. If they wouldn't let me pay, I'd take them out to dinner, my treat.

Depends on how close of a friend they are.
No, I don't expect them to pay for everything, I'm not even saying that they have to pay anything for me. But, if you know I'm struggling, a little help would be nice.

I agree. I'd hope they'd pay for some things, but i wouldn't EXPECT them to do it. If they offered, I wouldn't be upset (:p), but i wouldn't say to them "Oh, you're paying, now that you have the money i'm freeloading..."

No I would insist that I pay my way.. just goodness from your own heart. I don't care if they have a billion dollars it wouldnt be right if they picked up the whole tab.

no but you know if they offered me some money I might take it, like in the end of Mr. Deeds he's offered money he says no, but then he does take some as a gift. im not talking about billions but if one of my friends won Powerball and offered me 50K id take it

i could never assume any income any respect. except, needless to say, it became owed to me. If I have been the only with the money, i could make a snug residing for me and mine first. Then i could help my kinfolk on issues that they are in a bind on.
