Come on, I know you're out there. And how long did the relationship last with the mistress once you were free to be together?

(I'm nobody's mistress.....just wondering.)

My Dad did they have been married about 22 years and she is a wonderful woman. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in Feb of this year and is not well. My father had a major stroke about 10 years ago and has been bed ridden for the last 2 years.
Is that karma? I don't know that's what my Mom says.

My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over a year now. Been living together for 6 months.
He is married he has been separated for two years from his so called wife. He and his entire family tell me horror stories of their marriage and how unhappy he was with her and they have never seen him as happy as he has been with me.
Sometimes it bothers me that he is still married after two years but their is a reason behind every breakup. So if I'm considered his mistress then so be it.
We are happy and very much in love.
One of these days when the time is right he will get his divorce we will be married and live happily ever after.
Until then we will live in sin he will continue to be there for me and my children and be the best thing that has ever happened to me. He treats me good and I am only thankful that he is apart of my life now.

To youcandoit: it isn't only men who cheat. Besides, there are circumstances in which leaving her for the mistress might actually be a good thing, especially if there are children involved and she is either mentally or physically abusive or she is a substance abuser.

Most men never leave their wife for the mistress. Nevertheless, my father managed to do just that.

It`s like the forbidden fruit. The more you are with the mistress, the less you want to be with your wife. In the end , and I find this very amusing,, why in heaven`s name would the man expect the woman to be faithful to him after he leaves his wife? He no longer is the forbidden fruit, the excitement of the relationship takes a back seat, next thing you know he is alone, and she has moved on to another fruit.
