Yearbooks are an American thing not British, although there are a small number of british schools who have adopted this Americanism, along with a Prom it is in no way widespread or automatic.

I understand what you are saying, but I don't think yearbooks are really a big deal when voldermont is trying to take over the wizarding community! However, if you really have a yearning for a yearbook type dealy there is an issue of Entertainment Weekly that had 38 pages on Harry Potter and 2 of those pages was a yearbook.

Aw - I think that's a cute idea. I can just see Harry in his room at the Dursley's over the summer pouring over his year book so he could see Ron and Hermoine.
Too bad JK didn't think of that, but as previously mentioned I guess schools in the UK don't really do that.

None of them paid their yearbook fees. And if they're anything like the schools I attended, if you didn't pay during the registration period, you, my friend, are what they call 'screwed'
