You know how they make movies like King Kong, or your's mine, and ours ect. Do you think that the classic's are usually better the remade are or do you think it depends on what film?

The classics are generally better than the remakes. Usually when people remake a classic, they forget what the movie is truly about. Instead, they mask the greatness of the movie with fancy effects and so called "a-list" actors. Remakes are all about making money. It's quite sad.

it depends on the movie

TRON one of the best sci fi movies ever and still a cornerstone in movie making technology is up for a remake and a sequel if they ever get it done. They could do sooo much with it today.

King Kong: what most people dont seem to realize is that this isnt a NEW Kong. Its a direct remake of the 1933 original. They ever got ahold of some of the original props for it (dont know which). It might have seemed lame but ive seen al the kongs and i thought it was a very well done remake of the original.

Usually the classics are better... that's why they get copied/remade.

I didn't relize that movies had been 90 min. for long time, wel i 'd chance that... movies would have too meet a time riqurement to quilify as movie of 2hours and 27 mins. to meet the movie req.
kovie isn't a movie unlees it holds a court for this time.
old movies like Wizard of Oz. and a wondelful Life, even Citizen Cane had the mistique of sounding old, new movie the Horror movies I don't like the move to slow... comedys move to fast...

There are the rare remakes that are better. But by & large, the classics are... well, classic.
