the menu is very expensive, a total rip off. the food isn't very good. but yet the place is always full. i think people pay that much to see the girls instead of the food. who else agrees?

last time i went there, we saw the menu and it was very disturbing, the pricing is just killer for such food. me and my friend ordered the cheapest item on the menu which was curly fries and it was very nasty.

my friend didn't leave any tip since it was a waste of his money. i only left a dollar tip there since i didn't want to leave without any tip since it's disrespectful. but i wish i could take that day back and take my money and leave without leaving any tip.

=P that sounded quite bit bitter but sometimes the truth is the truth.

actually peachgirl, it's the womens choice whether they wanted to apply to work there in the first place or not. so it's not that they exploit women, it's that some women are dumb enough to want to work there.

Uhm yeah.... GeeGee, I think your rotten egg smell from your car really screwed up your taste buds. I'm guessing you love their foods just like meg. I'm sorry to break it to ya but sometimes the truth hurts, you got to get out of your car often. Maybe live in the dumpster if you still love hooters after you've cleaned your car.

Somehow I don't think Hooters is about fine dining. It's bar food, a small step above fast food, and their focus is the atmosphere. If that's what you want, have fun. If you're after great food, go somewhere else.

I went once, and hated it. The food was mediocre at best, and the music was so loud that my husband and I couldn't even talk. The service was lousy, too. I guess my husband wasn't flirty enough to suit our server, it took forever for her to take our order, and we had no luck getting refills on our drinks. It wasn't busy, either, there were only 3 other groups in the entire place.

Yes, the prices at cinemas are ridiculous. There is a chain of theaters here in Chicago called I.C.E. (Inner City Entertainment). They only charge 6.50 before 5:00pm and 8:50 afterward. Now you'd think that would be a sweet deal. But, hell, some of the snacks, food, and beverages cost more than the tickets!!! I always bring my own snacks or go grab a bite to eat before or after the show.

I've been there once in Washington, and YES the food was not that good. It was okay but I expected more. The girls aren't even that friendly and the Menu is very expensive for the little you receive, not to mentione the bad service, because they just try to sell you merchandise...I actually expected more from the place. I haven't gone to another Hooter's since and know now to go when I'm not hungry and just maybe order a BEER.

Perhaps where you are things may be different...I always
have a great time at the Hooters in my town...all the girls
know me and know what i'm gonna order as soon as I
come in Saying hello. Any seat for me is a good seat
and my meal is really well cooked

If I burn 15 dollars there, I'll leave the Girl the last 5 and
always say Goodnight when I leave. To this day, no matter
who has served me...I have never had a bad night there

sorry big guy, I agree with Meg!! Quit your belly aching!! It isn't the wait staff's fault you didn't have the guts to walk out without ordering, if you felt "disturbed" by the pricing. And leaving a dollar is just as disrespectful as leaving nothing, so get over yourself and eat at home, ya big baby! HAAAA, too funny!

I had the nastiest wings ever from Hooters, so I tend to agree with you. I got the hottest wings they had and the sauce was painful hot, not the tasty hot. It's about the young ladies.

I've never been, but I fully suspect that it is an awful place to eat. I mean...what do you expect? Great food? Hooters, just like any other stupid chain, is going to have awful food. I wouldn't take it out on the staff, though...tip them.

Wait . . . Hooters serves food?? When did this start??

Actually, many restaurants are expensive for what you get food-wise. Some folks liek their food - others, not so much.

I might suggest you go somewhere else.

The food is great (big portions too) considering its a sports bar, not Wolfgang Pucks.

They frequently run specials on their various menu items and beverages.

It sounds like you had one bad experience in one store location and then made broad assumptions based on that experience. Why not use your question to get opinions on the restaurant from other users and then try visiting a different one, if the opinions tell a different story from your experience.
