No Limit-Master P

Bad Boy-P.Diddy

Deathrow-Suge Knight

Aftermath-Dr. Dre

SoSo Def-Jermaine Dupri

Roc-a-fella Records-Damon Dash

I know Russel Simmons Def Jam probably tops all of these but just out of the ones I named. Which one you think had the best success & which one has the best roster of rappers.

Dr. Dre was Death Row and with Aftermath he got back to the top. Him and Russel Simmons are at the same level.

Diddy runs second for being a great showman
Master P third for making something out of nothing.
JD fourth. He would be higher but he inconsistent. Plus he is the only one to go bankrupt
Dame Dash fifth. He had a lot to do with the expansion of Roc-A-Fella. But, he made the worst decision by not giving Jigga his masters.
Suge is dead last. Everyone hates him. He is more known for being a bully and criminal than a mogul.

Edit -

I forgot their rosters:

Dr. Dre - Snoop, RBX, Kurupt, The Lady Of Rage, Daz, Nate Dogg, Eminem, 50 Cent

Diddy - Craig Mack, Biggie, The LOX, Ma$e, Black Rob

Master P - Snoop, Mystikal, Silkk, Mia X, Fiend, C-Murder

JD - Kriss Kross, Bow Wow, Da Brat

Dame - Jay-Z, Kanye, Memphis Bleek, Beans, Young Gunz, Freeway

Suge - 2 Pac

(Dame has quite a roster but considering all them ditched him for Jay we all know who had the real power)

I would say Aftermath-Dr. Dre, cause hes well known and people forget all the rappers hes put out there that have become moguls themselves like Snoop Dogg, Eminem........
Hes also had success as a solo artist and in a crew. I don't think many of the others on your list have had that much success and are household names like Dr Dre.
And if i remember correctly Suge Knight was in N.W.A with Dr Dre and they started Deathrow records together so i guess that's partly his thing to!!!

I would have to go with Dr. Dre Aftermath. He is very careful and selective with his artists, and has had huge success with his artists such as Eminem, 50, and Busta Rhyme's cd the big bang was his first album ever to go platinum. He produces some of the hottest tracks and does not work with any artist or sign anyone. Of course I question him producing a new track for Lil Wayne, but whatever...lol..He really does have the best roster of artists. Not as much as the others on your list but the majority of his roster are big in the game.

Mogul in my opinion means you are the HNIC in every aspect of your business and you have no bosses to answer to. Some of the people on your lists are not moguls in my opinion.
Diddy even though he answers to a higher power has worked hard enough to be considered a mogul now.
Master P is a mogul..he owns all his publishing, his own companies, and makes major gwop....without being relevant as 50 would say!!
Dame just fell off...WAY OFF...to be considered a mogul...he makes money yeah but a mogul he is not.
Dre is a producer who happens to be smart with his business. A mogul he is not...
Mr Dupri has been in the game long enough to be considered a mogul, but sadly he is not...maybe in ATL he is considered one. A bankrupt mogul!! That is an oxymoron...
Suge? WHy is he even on this list? Fat man needs to start bodyguarding again ..maybe he can get some more people for his Death Row roster...

In my opinion the one and only rap mogul is J Prince owner and founder of Rap-A-Lot Records. He is respected in the streets and in boardrooms, and he has been doing it since 1986...independantly. Distribution, pressings, everything. That to me is a true mogul. And not to many people can claim to do what J has been doing for over 20 years!!

So I guess Diddy is the only true mogul on your list...

Rap-A-Lot Mafia 4 Life!!!!

Aftermath, Dr. Dre, Eminem, G-unit, and a few others. Dr. Dre finds the best artists and turns them into stars. Death Row would of been good but everybody left them, so now its Dre day.
