It seems odd that during republican administrations we give tax cuts to the rich and create large deficits and claim to have a healthy economy. If you ran your household like that what would happen? You would be bankrupt, guess what. We are almost there, there is a global credit crisis as a result of our "economy". China now owns us, literally.

Because we don't pay enough in taxes to support the spending. Because the spending is designed to get votes for the corrupt federal politicians. Because no one in Washington is honest enough to address the problem. Because the media is corrupt and the general population too fat and lazy to pay attention to the problem. Because we fight wars we can't afford to keep military suppliers booming. Because we have a useless two party system with zero choice and zero chance to correct these issues. Because the Chinese are willing to lend us the money until they decide enough is enough. And finally, because Rex Grossman can't handle snaps from center.

They hate the Democrat's method of tax and spend, tax and spend. That way the government (we) pays as it goes.

Remember that Bill Clinton was the last President to have a balanced budget. (actually a surplus).
