Hello my friend, this maybe because of a kind of spyware which changes your homepage to a particular other one.
The solution for that is to install a good spyware program ( I recommend you Spyware Terminator , it is free and you can download it from the website: www.spywareterminator.com
and after that you run a Full-System Scan and delete the spywares founded. By that, we deleted the spyware, the next step is to return our hompage back by right click the internet icon >>> Internet properties >>>>> General >>>>> Homepage and then type the website you want to be your home page ......... I hope this helps

follow the suggestions of the others and get ad-aware and spy-bot search and destroy, but also have a look into your add/remove programs list for any kind of mysearch like toolbar that may be installed. And also check your search settings as they may have been changed by a program you have installed. Allot of programs can come with search tools and 3rd party toolbars you don't want and unless you specifically check to not install them, there they are.

Sounds like you need a good antispyware program, there is a list of trustworthy programs here:

http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm

Just click on the link for trustworthy antispyware programs on the left.

Personally, I use SuperAntiSpyware....It's the greatest for finding and removing 'junk' on your computer. It also comes with 'homepage hijack protection' that will stop your homepage from being changed without your knowledge or consent.

This happened to me too and i finally had to reformat. But try spybot first. Also, check in the add remove software in control pannel and see if you can uninstall anything that looks like spyware( 'search assistant" etc.)

I would suggest scanning your computer in safe mode (Hit the F8 key a few times during start up) and it may solve the computer. Do not click the link the user second answerer provided. It will damage your pc even more.

Download AVG-Anti Virus (free edition) and PC Tools Spyware Doctor and scan your system with them. They picked up over 100 viruses etc my Norton couldn't detect.
