At home or basically anywhere where you take your shoes off but can choose between socks, bare feet, slippers, etc.

I am totally more comfortable in bare feet. Socks always make my feet so hot!! There's nothing more uncomfortable than having hot feet stuck in uncomfortable, bunched up sweaty socks stuffed into shoes that don't fit right or aren't exactly "in fashion". It's a lot simpler to just go bare feet...if it's possible and the floor isn't gross or covered with rusty nails or something like that. =)

Before I left high school I always hoped that when i took my shoes off I could take off my socks as well. I felt a lot more comfortable in my bare feet, socks just make my feet feel like they suffocate and are confined. Every friend's house I visited I was always allowed to slip off my socks. I loved the feeling of carpet between my toes or the blades of grass on my soles.
I used any excuse to take off my socks if I was somewhere else (they were dirty, wet etc) but I did not argue if I could not.
Now I am 23 I still feel comfortable in bare feet, I threw away all my socks when I graduated from high school and walk around barefoot or flip flops. Mostly barefoot unless I am outside for lengthy periods of time and I do not know the terrain well.

I'm a socks person away from home; but at my house I like to live
comfortably in my bare feet.

Bare feet. If I have to escape from someone in a heavily-tiled building, I would hate to be wearing socks and uncomfortable shoes.

I like going bare foot at home but if I am going out somewhere then I wear socks, unless of course I can wear Sandals then no socks,

I love taking my shoes off at the door and walking around in my socks. If I'm indoors, I'm in my stocking feet.
