Then this moring, I am having more stringy mucus that is just very lightly tented with a small amount of pink blood every once and a while (this has actually been happening all night) Am I lossing more mucus plug? could it be something else. I never had a yeast infection before so I have no idea what that would look like. If it is more mucus plug, what do you think the chances are that my labor will start soon this time. I am 38 weeks, 4 days and last time I was checked, 3 centimeters dilated and nearly 100 percent effaced.

I know I know if I walk around like this much longer she is just going to fall out before I go into labor haha.

geeeess! 100% and 3 cents! Wow, with blood show now and 2 weeks ago! Yuo most likely will go into labor very soon. Also, be careful you are very far. That is the hardest part to get to and you are there. So labor might not be to long, don't poke around getting to the hospital. I poked around with my 3rd baby because the contraction were not that close like 10- 15 mins and not regular. Well, my husband woke up and said what is the stats and I said not regular 10 mins apart. He jumped up and said 10 mins lets go! Well, god was on our side because if my husband wouldn't of done that we would of had a home birth! Good luck!

I had similar with my first regarding the plug. Ive had 3 and none have been straight forward, plug loss and then into labour. As for dilating, you sound like your body is getting ready slowly.
Once in established labour you will know, even if it is very quick, its unlikely you will mistake it for anything else, (although I have met 3 people in my life who thought they just needed a poo).
Hope you have a good birth.
If you are looking forward to the end now, which i think many of us do by this stage, just keep in mind the date you have been given by your midwife for induction if you dont start naturally. That is the longest time you have left to wait and then it will be over and onto the next part of your lives.

I would say call your nurse..if you did allready loose your mucus plug..you dont want to have a yeast infection.

the plug regenerates itself.
you didnt have your bloody show yet. theres no way. the bloody show is when you are beginning active labor. i had my bloody show and delivered a few days later. bloody show wont stop . your losing your plug now call your doctor and go in and get checked

thats what happened to me and the next morning at like 6 am i went pee and stood up to pull up my underwear and my water broke everywhere!
