Red means love
White means purity.
Could mean I love you...and we'll go slow.
Either way...I'm jealous...I never get roses. (just kidding)
You go girl - someone loves you! Congrats.

RED:
Red roses are the traditional symbol for love and romance, and a time-honored way to say "I love you." The red rose has long symbolized beauty and perfection. A bouquet of red roses is the perfect way to express your deep feelings for someone special.
WHITE:
White roses represent innocence and purity and are traditionally associated with marriages and new beginnings. The white rose is also a symbol of honor and reverence, and white rose arrangements are often used as an expression of remembrance.
I think whoever sent them is a true romantic and probably a keeper.

Usually everyone gives out red roses, so with a few whites i think it brings out uniqueness, creativity, and that you love and care for that person much more than just giving him the simple red rose.

Happy Birthday.. Here's some flowers, roses, red & whites ones, because that's what the tv commercials tell me to buy and I am not an original thinker and truth be told, you just wasn't worth a trip to an actual store or my time to look for an actual gift so I thought, hey the commercial says send her flowers so I took 2 seconds out of my busy day and picked up the phone and called a florist and let THEM take care of your birthday...
That's what it says to me anyway. Flowers are such a cop out gift.

Red roses are for love, white roses are for either friendship or purity. Maybe it means someone purely loves you, or loves your friendship. Or it could just mean that they match well together and make a very pretty bouquet. Either way be thankful you got them in any color.

If it was from a lover, they'd get lovin' that same night. What a sweet gesture!
And the white roses REALLY tip the whole thing off! =D

The only thing it would mean for me would be that the person loved me very much and I certainly would be appreciative of the gift of the roses.

Honestly roses are overdone in my books. Personally I prefer to give someone special something they can keep forever to remember their special day, so flowers are usually not the first thing I think of.

Most Chinese girls like red roses. What about pink roses? I have received pink-orange color roses before. I never see that color after wards. Make it special and creative.
