Otaku no Video is pretty hard to find, but there was a DVD release a few years back. The original dub of "Akira" is well worth finding on VHS...or you can buy the Australian DVD of the "Akira" rerelease. It includes both the new and original dub.
Rare, rare... Check out the "Vampire Hunter D" OVAs those rock.
Gall Force...The Venus Wars...Demon City Shinjuku... Twilight of the Dark Master.
Yep, those are some quality hard to find titles.

One Piece (Action-Adventure about a 17 year old kid with a straw hat who wants to be king of the pirates. Over time he enlists a crew of more than ordinary fighters. Many fantasy elements such as cursed fruits giving strange powers, gigantic snow bunnies, and dinosaurs. Under-appreciated in the US because of 4Kid's lousy no blood, no violence, cut half the history of a main character dub.)
not rare, just not one ppl would necessarily think about in the us due to one of the worst anime dubs ever. (A hit in japan).
Watch some amvs and see if you like the fights or just start from the beginning at www.veoh.com (like youtube except full anime episodes).
i think ull like it bcuz i like all the animes u have listed.

I don't think there ARE any rare ones, I think they are all well-known.
Action: Outlaw Star is a little old but it still rocks - I'm a big fan of Aisha Clan-Clan. :-D
Romance.... Soooooo many to choose from, but I'm obsessed with Ah! My Goddess.
