No, I wouldn't date anyone who hated their own ethnicity. I'd be nothing more than a crutch for him, it would be useless.

No, because someone who hates their own ethnicity has serious complex problems. It simply means that they're so embarrassed about who they are and have no confidence in themselves. Honestly i hate those kind of people. They irritate me. I have lived in Morocco for 10 years, and I met this Moroccan woman who started talking about what a horrible country Morocco is. I walked away because it was very obvious that she was trying to make me think that she was really modern and that she not really a typical Moroccan in other words she was trying to impress me by telling me how she hated her own country. She simply has no self-respect and I find it a waste of time talking to people like that. Personally, im from Pakistan and even though Pakistan isn't really the most favourite country these days, I'm very proud of where I'm from and i have never had any trouble telling someone where I'm from.

Well Sis., the only race that I could envision doing that is the so-called N*groes (Answers would block out the word if I typed the "e".) I don't think a White, Chicano, or Native American would hate his/her own race because of negative experieinces. Im dating an indian (from india) who hates her race... but then considering they marry girls off to dogs and have killed over a million females fetusus just cause they were going to be girls... i can see why
