For all the vitrol and drool the Rightwingoids seem so eager to spew around here over every piece of news that comes along, they are remarkably silent on "Mr.Gonzo the Patriot Boy" so far. All of a sudden they are harder to find than Weapons of Mass Distraction or Dick Cheney's moral fiber. Have we finally found, in an administration full of Browns, Ashcrofts and Rumsfelds, an official so horribly incompetent that even the frothing attack poodles of the YA George Bush rah-rah squad are too embarassed to heap weak, too-late accolades upon him?

tough spot for the radical neocons.

on the one hand, seeing gonzo the torture czar head home to 'spend more time with his family' is pretty hard for them to have to accept.

but on the other hand, this could be considered just a distraction by them to keep people from thinking about the horrible mistakes related to the quagmire in iraq.
