How do I get the smell of burnt plastic and charred ribs out of my apartment? We cleaned the mess, used febreeze on all of the fabric and carpet, lit inscense, but there is still a residual smell. Have any ideas?

The best way to rid this kind of smell is this. Put a pot with water & vinegar on the stove. When the water starts to boil turn down the heat . Now let the water simmer for as long as you can , topping up the water every now and then .This wil rid the smell
