Intersting thought... maybe b/c for as long as bread has been sliced..ketchup has come in a packet...and thats just the way it is.

Ketchup is far more commonly ordered and packets are easier to manage for takeout orders.

if it bothers you, just peel off the top of the packet away and dip your fries inside the bag. lol

you see where it says Tear here? You tear that part and stick your fries inside the hole.

If you're lucky enough to have a Whataburger...........they have ketchup in little containers.

Ketchup is a lot more popular and more people use it so they make a portable and cheaper package.
