I don't know if you have a theme or are looking for a particular origin of names but keep in mind that you want something pretty, unique and that will still work in 20 years when that child is grown and looking for a job.

Daina - God is my judge (Eastern European)
Daria - Wealthy (Eastern European)
Elisa (Elyssa) - God is my oath (Eastern European)
Eve (Eva) - Life (Eastern European)
Gabrielle (Gabriella) - God is my strength (Eastern European)

These are names that I got off a website: http://www.whattoexpect.com

But some people do this if your husbands name is James, you may name your daughter Jamyah. If you want to name her after him.

My mom had a theme, all her boys first name start with G and all of her girl's first names start with S. And I had a theme my grandfather who I loved to death's initials were A.O and that's how I determined my son's initials, first name A last name O).

Honoure was the name of a girl I knew in HS and the only one I've ever met. I always thought her name was so beautiful.

Even made-up names aren't truly unique. Unique means one-of-a-kind, never duplicated. That's impossible with names. The best anyone can do is "unusual".

Of course, your child herself is already unique! Her name will be a reflection of your taste and personality.

I am glad you are looking for a pretty name and not following the unfortunate trend of parents who label their beautiful daughters with masculine names.

Leda is another name I like a lot. In Greek mythology, Leda was the mother of Helen of Troy, considered the most beautiful woman in the (Meditteranean) world.
