That is so cool, very strong. Maybe I will steal it for my twins since I already picked Roman for one of the boys.
The name Reeve is English: Steward, an occupational name referring to a caretaker; When this name was coined in medieval times, the reeve was very important and oversaw the running of the entire estate, including the lives of feudal serfs.
You could also spell it Reave, Reve

I like it but it makes me think about Christopher Reeve. Not that its a bad thing because he was quite an inspiration. I think it sounds nice but you also got to take your last name into consideration when naming your boy. Congrats on the baby. Good Luck and take care.

The only problem with unusual names is the kid will always have to repeat their name and sometimes spell it out.
That being said, Reeve sounds similar to Christopher Reeve, which of course provokes images of heroes and dedication and strength.

No, it sounds more like a last name and plus it makes me want to say the name Reeves after Christopher Reeves.
How about Reese instead?

Never heard it but love it! And unlike whoever said Christopher Reeve is pitiful, I think he's a legend. I mean come on, he was SUPERMAN!!!!!

I think of Superman also. It kinda leaves you wanting to say more with it, almost like the name isn't finished. I like Reece, River, or Reed better.
