What else can you expect? This administration is a circle of sycophants who pat each other's backs incessantly. They still insist Brownie was doing a "heckuva job" in New Orleans, when, clearly, he was incompetent--why should Gonzales be different? Besides, to admit that Gonzales did wrong would be to admit the administration did wrong--something Bush never does.

Well he can rightfully and justifiably say that because Gonzales was the presidents faithful lawyer and servant. He did his job well and now comes the time his dirty deeds are no longer needed. He was always a personal lawyer for Bush.

I think he had to say that. To say anything else would be admitting he made a mistake in Gonzales' appointment in the first place. And we all know by now how often this administration has admitted mistakes . . .

Thomas Jefferson said, "In every country where man is free to think and to speak, differences of opinion will rise from differences of perception, and the imperfection of reason; but these differences, when permitted - as in this happy country - to purify themselves by free discussion, are but as passing clouds overspreading our land, transiently, and leaving our horizon more bright and serene."
Buhs lives in a dreamland of calm clouds and supercilious serenity. He is unable to face reality; if he could, he would recognize the stupidity of an immoral, unconstitutional, illegal, and unjustifiable 'war' into which he has dumped American soldiers, all for the sake of OIL and WAR PROFITEERING. -RKO- 08/27/07

When someone resigns it is customary to say a few kind words...so are we now going to pick on Bush for his kindness?
