Anyone who has 12 year olds might be able to feel my pain here. Some how a 6 inch lizard (it was dead) ended up in the wash! We missed it when sorting clothes and it got washed & dried. Washing machine is fine but dryer smells AWFUL!! We've cleaned the entire interior of the dryer with bleach based kitchen cleaner & run 2 loads of old towels with tons of dryer sheets. Still stinks. Any suggestions? Saw a suggestion of washing out with Simple Green & then tossing in 5 + damp potpourri bags. Will try that but was curious if there were other ideas. HELP Please...

try cleaning out the dryer vent and vent hose. lint in the hose may be trapping the smell.

Buy a new dryer, if that is not an option, time and some baking soda will help.
