Why not try a craft that you could sell like baby quilts. I started Ana on whole milk at a year and she does three sippy cups (8 oz cups so 24 oz total) a day.

I was a stay at home mom for the first six months as well and I thought I was gonna go crazy. I picked up a part time job.. I just couldn't handle being at home all the time, I have always worked and been a pretty active person. Plus my daughter was colicky, so she screamed pretty much 24/7, and I truly NEEDED little breaks. Okay, so some of my shifts last 6 hours. :)
Hell, you wouldn't want to sit around and watch TV anyways. Find a gym with a daycare. You'll feel better and you'll also be able to take some adult time.
As far as cow's milk, my pediatrician told us absolutely not until she is over a year old. Not sure how much and whatnot, but you have a ways to go, so..

There are many things that you could do to past time at home. Blog, scrapbook, paint, crafts, and etc. How about starting a small home business to make extra money. It could be anything really. Think about what you enjoy and go from there.
They (the docs) suggest cows milk at age 1. I personally like to start by mixing half formula with half cows milk. I do 1/2 and 1/2 for about 5 days then 3/4 cows milk and 1/4 formula for 5 days, and then to straight cows milk.

You don't need to stay home hun.... take your baby and get out and do things. If your daughter is only 6 months, you are not stuck at the house yet. In fact, its easier to get out now, because once they are mobile (walking and running), then it becomes a little harder.
Get out to the mall, movies, etc.
I didn't give my kids cow milk until I think they were a year.
You'll find joy in staying home, it's an adjustment and it takes awhile.
You can also find other moms in your neighborbood that you click with. You can just look in your neigborhood or you can find other moms on Craigslist under community... but I tried that and met some pretty weird and/or stuck up people. But you never know. I met the best moms right in my neighborhood.
Oh yeah, with Christmas around the corner, start making gifts and selling them to friends and family. I'm making decorated Canvas bags. They seem big this year to have canvas bags instead of plastic bags, so I'm making a bunch (they have EASY kits at the craft stores) for Christmas gifts!

For cows milk, start the transitioning at 12 months. To keep busy, try finding a computer game. Im at home mom too w/ a 6 month old. I play World Of Warcraft with my daughter on my lap and I play w/ her too. Any hobby is fine. If u get bored w/ scrapbooking, try something new

1 year for the cows milk
Mommy and Me groups are nice to get involved with, I linked a site in the houston area for you that has some listings for groups.
You can also take the baby out to the park or mall, anywhere to get out of the house for awhile. It's a good way to meet other Mom's too.
Start making holiday gifts(candles, quilts, etc.) now, that way you can spend a little money at a time and be done with them before the holidays. (second link is a craft store site)
Hope I helped =)

You should wait until your child is closer to 1 year old before giving cows milk. She still needs all the vitamins she is getting from formula or breastmilk. Start introducing her to whole milk around 11 months. Give her 2-3 ounzes to start and work your way up to 4-6 onzes. Make sure that she is getting enough fruits and veggies so she is getting the vitamins her body needs, that she isn't getting from the formula or breastmilk.
I am a stay-at-home mom with 2 children of my own (3 year old and 1 year old) I stay busy doing housework, reading and I also sell Mary Kay Cosmetics.

You need to consult with your pediatrician on when to give your baby cow's milk. It's usually after 1 years old. As for hobby, have you tried calling your friends up and meet with their kids too? It's just like socializing to pass the day.
I can never be a stay-at-home mom. There are times where you just want to be alone and do your own things.

Scrapbooking is a good way to pass the time, as well as entertaining your daughter too. Cows milk is usually introduced once your child is a year old. When I transitioned my twins, I did it a little at a time because they did notice the difference.

i extensively utilized tapwater with my daughter's formulation. i be responsive to at the instant the peds say no milk in the past a 12 months, yet i grew to become into 4 months previous whilst my mom cease nursing, and we began my daughter , i want to assert around 9 months or so on milk. we have no history of lactose intolerance or the different nutrition hypersensitive reactions in the kin,in spite of the indisputable fact that. each and every new child is distinctive, carry on with what your rfile says to be on the risk-free element. the two issues you extremely shouldn't supply a new child until eventually a minimum of a million 12 months. previous are peanut or tree nut products/oils, and honey. if that is an financial element, like the cost of formulation, and if that is not too late, you need to objective nursing. that is extra secure than something.
