I think it's too late in the game for 2008. And the way campaigns are starting earlier and earlier, you've prolly missed the boat for 2012 too. So may be start campaigning for 2020. I think that gives you plenty of time to sufficiently plaster your name into the minds of Americans. As for Miss South Carolina - like many Presidential candidate, she has a list of manicured responses (which she couldn't make fit into such a simple question). Answer from the heart, and not from your style coach.

i think u should if ur confident and ur educated and u have the best interest of citizens in mind then i say go for it, just dont let ur self become a brainless puppet like a certain someone who holds that position currently.
