It is actually quite common for an unexperienced young girl to want to practice with a friend before she moves onto a guy because she doesnt want to do something wrong when it comes to the "real deal" and a friend will be honest about what you've done wrong or in this case what felt wron and what felt right.

most of the times these kind of things come up at a younger age (10 11 12)in an all girl truth or dare. it makes everyone feel more comfortable because it gets rid of the possible lesbian status because it was a dare.

but if you and your freind want to practice with eachother i would say that it is completly fine and completly normal to do so.

much love,
lydia

I personally think that you should stick with kissing someone you care about. In other words, a love interest. The thing about kissing is this...none of us know how to do until we actually do it. When you do kiss someone that you care ab out for the first time, you will instinctively know what to do. Plus, you can do it over and over again to get lots of practice.

Don't worry about how you will do. Chances are, the person that you kiss will be new at the experience too and he will be nervous. He won't know if you are a good kisser or a bad kisser. And, like I said, you can keep doing it until you both get really good at it. Just stick with your instincts and I am sure that you will be just fine.

Good luck.

PS...If you are a minor...just stick with the kissing until you are with the person that you plan on spending the rest of your life with. You don't want to make a mistake that could alter the rest of your life.

No because if you want to learn how to kiss a male, you need to practice on those types of subjects. Also, you will have plenty of time to practice when you are in a relationship/dating a guy. So chill.

No! Countless generations of curious youngsters have tried that and nothing bad has happened!

Sorry kidding... it is natural and normal to experiment. What is unnatural is to feel guilty about it.

Well that's up to the two of you, isn't it? The rest of us don't care. Well, maybe the homophobic neo-nazis would care, but you can just ignore them.

"lesbo", huh? Okay, "straight-o"....

Sure, kiss away, or use a pillow.
