I just think that it is great to see kids play on national T.V. with no regard to steriod talk, or big contracts. It's nice to see kids play the game for what it was really meant for, and that is for the fun of it, and sportsmanship. Those kids have more sportsmanship in them than the MLB players ever could dream of.

absolutely yes ! and those boys had a lot more class and showed better sportsmanship than all the MLB players combined. I was really impressed when they won and then realized the boys from Japan were so devastated that they stopped their celebrating to go console them. very classy.

I love watching them play much more than the MLB. they are more entertaining and I love watching a young kid make such a good play. I also like the many different countries that come and I like to watch how good their fundamentals are. I love their big smiles which you never see in the MLB. The kids also have such good sportsmanship like when the pitcher hits the batter the international teams always go over and shake the batter's hands to let them know they are sorry i also like after the final game they all hug each other. I like comparing myself to the kids and hope to play like them. They are all good examples of dreams coming true. In an entrie season of the MLB you cant see the great kind of stuff you can see in one game of the little league world series. I love watching them!

I'd still rather watch major league baseball, because I enjoy watching the best players in any sport. All the sportsmanship in the world doesn't make Little League all that interesting to me.

Also, you have to remember that every guy in MLB at one time played for fun, but real life has a way of making other things - like money - take on some importance. The LLWS might be okay to watch for a week, but I'd give up on baseball if that's all that was offered.

Baseball on any level is fun to watch - Check out any little league, high school or college team next spring.

If the talk on the Major League level irritates you...
Just turn the sound down on the TV and watch the game, you wont be missing anything

I disagree 100%.

I do like to watch the LL World Series, and I go watch my cousins play LL still.

BUT, I don't like how ESPN is making a ton of money off of the kids, and they get next to nothing for it. They do get to be on TV, which for a 12 year old is a huge deal. I just think they're getting used by ESPN.

Watching the kids play will always be better. The game is still pure at that level. They play for the love of the game and not for money. Not that pro players shouldn't get paid but you have to admire the outlook the kids have for the game.

i watch ll world series each year if possible. it is great. i lived in the city where you could see ll games until seven years ago. now i cannot. in addition, mlb sucks. i don't like any of the major league ball games -- baseball, football or basketball because of all the disgusting news reports. dont even like the rich players who largely express their arrogance on their faces and in their words. i am one of those who will boycott anything they represent and avoid tv viewing. they are a huge waste of time and money and horrible role models. exceptions of course but the rotten apples rule, obviously since bonds got that record, etc. etc. kobe? another oj? what were they thinking?

i dont know...i agree and i dont. ive been watching the little league world series but i dont think its right for kids who r 12 to be in the posittion that these kids are in. if your an amazing athlete, thats great, but these kids are competing for the wrong reasons. i would rather watch MLB.

I would have to agree with you. They play with heart unlike most of today's Mlb players who are spoiled & only care for the money.

I have to admit it, this years LLWS has been kinda exciting. It's had it all. Walk off game winning HR's. But get real. I'd rather watch the real deal. I'd rather watch the over paid millionaire ball player who could care less about the city he plays for,The fans, you,or me.
