I supprt it , I bought my home when Clinton was in office , my interest rate was then around 10.5% , when bush took office , my new rate ( after re-financing) to 5% thus allowing me to have my mortgage paid off in the next two years , I just bought another acre of land next door to my mothers house to keep others from moving there , the land listed for 15 k I offered 7500 cash , and they took it , I have no credit card debt , and four cars with no payments , So if this is a war on me , I support that kind of war , My state has been run by Republicans for so long , I will never move , state taxes are low , we have the lowest gas prices in the country , even here the cigarettes have gone up so high , they are nearly 3 dollars a pack ( 2.65) or 20.00 per carton , Gas is right now 2.38 per gallon , one station here is actually 2.34 per gallon ....If this is a war on me , I wish they would start with the heavy bombing and pick up the pace ,and I hope democrats stay out of local office , I do not want to pay higher / double costs of living such as the democrat dominated northern states ,
I am middle class , I am nowhere near liberal , I love America , and I love God , so please put down the crackpipe , and step away slowly ....For you to be so narrow minded as to say this about all middle class , why did you even breed , when stupid people breed , they just create more stupidity , and believe me the world has enough stupidity ( Hillary , Obama , etc) we do not need anymore breeding of stupidity this includes inbreeding ...so Stop It .
A little note to "Cary Cyd" above , America was founded as a "Republic" not a "democracy"

America was founded on the principle of freedom from King George & his repression.
America is based on democracy.
Democracy means of the people, for the people, by the people & expressing your opinions about your freedom. (Watch clips of Mr. Bush. He has referenced this many times in his speeches.)
If our founding fathers would not have spoken out & acted against King George you wouldn't be here being able to express your individual opinion supporting the current King George.
I am probably what you mean when you say a middle class American, although when I think of myself I consider myself an individual. I am NOT a Democrat, a Christian nor a Liberal. I would never support any terrorist attack on anyone because I believe in THOU SHALL NOT KILL - it is not just a Christian sentiment you know. (Research other religions - you might be pleasantly surprised at how SIMILAR they all are. Many have the same parables, prophets, protagonists, commandments & laws. Educate yourself & eradicate your ignorance of the world around you.)
I support people who don't lie, don't sling mud, don't take money from those who need it just so they can continue to live the high life they were born into & feel they deserve, who have some kind of idea about how the average American lives - wait, that means I can't support most politicians . . .
Funny, I thought the constitution said the government is supposed to REPRESENT the people - not just work to better their own self interests. Why is it that only people with money seem to be able to run for office? How can someone born with a silver spoon in their mouth possibly be able to identify with the average working person & the everyday decisions they have to make?

I don't agree with your premise that Pres. Bush is engaged in war on the middle class and I don't agree that the middle class is all liberal. I think the values of the middle/working class are more in line with conservative values, for the most part, and that the working middle class supports the war on terrorism.
The democratic party is against the middle class because they want to raise our taxes, let terrorists bomb where we work, and for the last 60 out of 70 years that they were in power in the congress, they let illegal immigration flood our country, spent us into oblivion and want to spend more on useless "wars" that can't be won by throwing money at, i.e. the "war" on poverty.
Don't look at one man as being capable of fomenting a war against a class of people when you have a whole political ideology that has been doing it for decades upon decades, all in the name of common good. Disgraceful.

OK then what's your address? I'll send my bills your way since you don't get what it is to actually work for a living.
I am a nurse, college educated, hold a unmarked nurse's license which I pay for, and hold a job. I now make $0.40/hr more than 2001. My husband works on computers in blue collar type work. And makes thousands less a year since 2001. Both 2001 dates are August so put away your cry baby aurgument on Sept. Bush was turning the screws BEFORE 9/11 and you need your self righteous head examined.

If Bush HAD a war on the middle class, I would not support it...even though your points are valid. You see, the republicans want to help the middle class and the poor (this includes Bush...see job growth, attempted school vouchers, etc.)
The dems hate the poor, otherwise they would not push b@stardized entitlement programs which, by their very design, promote fraud and keeping those who are on them right there on the nipple.

Are you kidding me right now? Not only did you not present facts that George Bush is against the middle class, but you failed to say why the middle class is being lumped into the category of liberal democrats. The middle class is one of President Bush's most loyal base, to say he would wage war on them is ridicules.

so you believe by questioning our leadership, going against our constitutional rights, we are against Christianity and America, because America is Christianity? Well your ideas are really flawed haha
The President answers to the people, even though the electorial college elcets him its the people who give him his power and if he doesn't respect the people, the people have the right to question his leadership, hints why their is something calle impeachment...duh
And Christianity/America are not the same, I apolgize to inform but America is more advanced then that, we have evolved past manifest desting, white man burden, and the melting pot... We are now a salad, so kiss on that, God Bless America, forget that God Bless the world

Soccer Mom, you let the ball hit your head too many times and it was filled with lead. Ooops, maybe your head is too. Not one true statement in your question. But then you didn't really want to ask a question you wanted to plant some neocon propaganda.
