Be careful. The Odyssey uses Apex ClimateBlock. It is wind-proof but only water resistant...not waterproof. I've not seen the Odyssey first-hand, but the material is the same as shell used in the Apex Bionic jacket. I sold a boat load of those and know them well. It will repel water to a certain degree, but if you get caught in a drencher or yard-sale in the slush you will be looking for the quick way to the lodge.

How warm you will stay will depend on how cold it is, what your base layers are and how hard you ski. (How much body fat you have will also make a small difference....if you are a fatass like me, you'll stay warm in a heavy wicking base layer and a windbloc fleece.)

Bottom line...you should be OK as long as you skip the cotton under layers and stay out of the heavy rain and/or snowmaking guns.
