I was asked, why i ask this question. Well for school im writing a report sort of on Answers and this kind of websites in the EU. And i noticed that all the Eu countries (france, the UK, italy, spain and germany) have their own version except Holland. And their own versions have also a lot of users, so guess they dó like to have one in their own language? I am just wondering why doesnt holland have one? Have they done research that it wont be a success there? Thats why i thought, let me ask it here. Maybe there are some dutch peeps (or others are also welcome ofcourse) here, who know the answer to that. :-) Hereby i want to thank everyone in advance who took time to answer this question for me. Thank you!

I am rather active here, Dutch is my first language, and I am not interested in a Dutch version at all.

I am here to answer, not to ask.
I can use Google! And I go to specialist forums for specialist questions.

I personally would not mind a Dutch version on the side, but as it is I really like the international feel of Y/A. Even though the majority on here seem to stem from the USA.
I don't like the time difference with some of my regular contacts and friends but that problem is unsurmountable.
I sort of stumbled upon it when I opened a Yahoo account for an E-Mail address , asked a linguistic question I have had for years. Started surfing and then discovered the Polls and Survey section. Answered a few, got a few best answers,
got myself a Fan. And before I knew it I was hooked.
I'm Dutch and living in Amsterdam.

Hallo ;-)

I'm a cheesehead too (nickname for dutch people)
I like Yahoo!Answers, mostly to pass time, read and write funny remarks and sometimes to answer or ask a serious question.

The dutch version of Yahoo!Answers ?
No... I'm not really interested in it. Dutch is spoken by only 15 million people and loads of 'm never heard of Y!A. So I guess I'll hardly find interesting questions on the dutch version.
Most dutch already speak English, so... for now I stick to the English version.
But hey... you never know how a cow catches a hare :-), so I'll surely look at the dutch version when it is created.

I am dutch and i am on here off and on, i like to answer questions but have some questions every now and than myself on things i can't seem to find online, or am cureous about what others find for me. I am not interested in a dutch version of this at all, i love the mix here, from all over the world you get answers and that is great, makes it interesting on some subjects.

why do you ask this anyways if you dont mind me asking?

I'm Dutch too.
A Dutch version of Yahoo Questions/Answers? Not necessarily.
And when it should be, it should be made by Dutch people.
Here I can practice my knowledge of English and help others with my answers. I like that!

I like Y!A too, yet don`t require any alternate language version

Why i use answers - as a passtime.
And one where i can help some people

I like the variety on Y!A, and i don`t like those people that keep asking the same question over and over.
