I run a small construction company. There are three printers and three computers. Each printer is for something different. I would like my internet to be wireless and I would like each computer to be able to print to any printer without being hooked directly to it (wireless) If any one knows how please let me know.

First you will need a wireless router. Any major electronic and office supply store will carry them. What you will want to look for is "802.11 b/g". Don't waist your time if the " sales " rep says your need "802.11 N" it is more expensive and you will not need any of it's functionality.

Now you will need to get your PC's wireless. If you are uncomfortable opening up the insides of your computer, look at purchasing 3 USB Wireless adapters at the store.

When you are back at the office, plug the modem provided by your Internet Service Provider ( You do have high speed internet right? ) into the wireless router ( You will have to pull the power cord for 10 seconds on the ISP router to clear the MAC cache )

Install the software on the PC's and plug in the USB Wireless adaptors on the PC's.

That's will be alot of work right there. If you get that done ask again about setting up Wireless Security and Sharing the Windows Printers

Depends, if you already have a good "high speed" internet, its just a matter of installing a wireless routers (i.e. Linksys).
Once you've done that it just a matter of securing your wireless network against unauthorized access, and installing wireless cards onto your 3 pc.

As for the printers you I believe (not too sure) but as long as they are in the same network, you can install the printers onto each computer so they can print to it.

if you need more info go and read this guide http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=30162

Oh, one more thing wireless 802.11 g should be your top choice, since its almost the standard, and the price is cheaper too.

To make your office have wireless internet, you will need.

* A Wireless Router
* High Speed Internet
* One Ethernet Cable (You Probably Have Many)

You may need to get USB Wireless Connectors. To make your computers wireless. If your office is filled with laptops check to see if they are wireless capable.

1. Connect your ethernet cable to the high speed modem and the wireless router.
2. Plug in the wireless router.

Once your computers / laptops have wireless capabilities you may run Internet on them.

I am sorry I cannot answer the question on printers.
( I just don't know)

You can buy printer servers, which basically act as intermediaries between the network and the printer. Or, you can set up the printer server yourself by connecting them to a computer and "Sharing" them across the network. It'll require one computer to be physically connected to your printers, but all the others can simply print via network.

Dont Listen to theese fools. You Need 2 items A wireless Router "to share items such as broadband etc." And A printserver. Go with Linksys for the router and printserver. the pcs hook up the router and your printers to (1) printserver. Make that network work for you Multitask with fewer equiment. I use nothing but Linksys.
