cuz look at the amount of people they reach. and doctors make sum dough so dont get it twisted. and actors dont have it that easy they work their *** off and have the whole lives being watched constantly.

Doctors can and do make a lot of money.
One reason teachers aren't paid better is America's basic distrust in education and fear of intelligence. How many, "my kid beat up your honor student" bumper stickers have you seen? Another reason is simple economics. How many teachers are there at your kids' school? Multiply that by what you would consider a respectable salary. Multiply that by all the schools in your district. The cost would be astronomical.
Celebrities provide entertainment, and the general public would rather be entertained than enlightened. Can you imagine anyone paying a teacher the cost of a show or concert every day for teaching them math or English? But people part with that money gladly by the hundreds to hear music or see acting or such.

The Law of Supply and Demand. Anyone who can complete the degree and certificate process (not to belittle it or suggest that it's easy) can become a teacher. How many people can run a 4 minute mile, or hit 40+ homeruns in a year? Price is one of the ways that we allocate scarce resources, and teachers and athletes are two of many resources.
Additionally, you may wish to consider decorated teachers with doctorates, who can command six figure salaries. Again, there is a lower supply of these (relative to demand), and thus the price that will be paid is higher.

I always asked myself this question... You can spend all your life studying the most financially rewarding major and career and not end up with half as much as these people are making. Unless your a plastic surgeon working miracles on the celebrities
