and im a little bit over 200 pounds

generally we burn on the average, 100 calories a mile. Of course body size, muscle mass can make it vary. Most of us average between 15 and 20 minutes per mile, so you are walking about 12 miles a week? And probably burning about 1200 calories. It takes 3500 calorie burn to lose a pound....thats 35 miles. Keep track, the miles do add up.....you will lose about 3-4 lbs per month....good luck my friend.
