Most of the questions I see here are obviously rewritten from a textbook, or worksheet. Your thoughts?

Don't you wish you got extra credit for helping others get their degrees?

All the time. I do wish people would not answer those questions. But, since Yahoo awards points when answering anything, people will. Even if, and often it is, wrong.

I do wish Yahoo would raise the minimum age to like 16 or 18. Reduce the number of kids trying to skate through homework. We all know good students do their own work. So it makes you wonder. Makes me sad. Many generations before have gotten through primary school successfully without the aid of the Internet. This submitting questions right out of your assignment and expecting an answer is more like cheating.

I wonder if the National Education Association knows just how bad this has gotten. Or maybe they just flat don't care.

It does seem that way, but at the same time by answering you are learning or reviewing and helping others. I agree that some questions can be found in a textbook or other source like the internet, but maybe they cannot find or are too lazy. I don't know. What I do know is by answering the questions I review my biology skills so not to forget because I'm planning on going into dentistry. Therefore, if they are asking the questions b/c they are lazy, you know they are only hurting themselves. Sometimes I ask questions because I can't find answers. :-)

Yes it does seem that way sometimes, but I think it is pretty easy to identify which questions are homework questions and not answer them.

I wonder if we should also refuse to answer the creationists questions? But, I hate to leave them alone because they seem to have a lot of fellow creationists on this forum agreeing with them and they need to be refuted.
