is it necessary to pay revise IAS salary considering the perormance of the country which is despite them?

6 th pay commision has been comissioned in Indai to look in to the salaries. Any one familiar with the serial " Yes minister on BBC? will know what goes in to such commissions . the pay commission has galvalinized other wise dormant persons

They are a highly paid lot.A graded pay structure is already in force.Where is the need
for further revisions?Besides,these worthies are a law unto themselves.They cannot be prosecuted without sanction from an appropriate authority,which sanction is never accorded.Even after their retirement,they manage to get posted on some committee or the other at a hefty pay package.Such committees never ever complete their tasks
and manage to get extensions for a long time.
The more favored ones get posted as Governors or are inducted into politics or are nominated to the Rajya Sabha or one of the thousands of trusts established with public money but managed privately by vested interests.
With a permanent employment followed by a liberal pension scheme I don't think these guys deserve any hike in their pay scales.

If the IAS officer gets good salary he will work better for the country. If he gets bribing from any anti social elements he wont think for the salary hike. Policy should be strict to eliminate malpractices and should government increase the salary as per the performance and the day today price variation for any reason. Government should think of the pricing policy. If everything is good no one expect the salary increment as per the rules every year service increment is more than sufficient for them. Also government has already giving so much of facilities to the IAS officers Is it that not enough for them. Oh god wants are unlimited.

what will happen if u work in a company or a government office and your salary is not raised for 30 years. how would u feel.
salaries, my dear friend, have to revised periodically.
