All ears....Gee you must be Prince Charles or Ross Perot.

Both have served American people as Senators. They have done as much or more than others who have held the office they seek prior to being in the office. FDR was governor of New York before becoming one of our greatest ever. His cousin Teddy was Navy Secretary and Vice President. Abe Lincoln was a Congressman and a Senator. Being in Congress is usually, but not exclusively, the path to the presidency. What have they done for America? What have you done for America? What did George W. Bush do for America before being appointed/elected to president? What has any of the current bunch of candidates on either side done for America? They all have served as best they could some better than others. If one must prove greatness BEFORE election we would have very few elegible. Often people like another insignificant Congressman/Senator from Illinois, Lincoln, becomes significant and great after being elected.

Obama voted against the war and he says good things. I don't think he's been around long enough for us to judge.

Who says they're smart? If they were 'smart' they'd have practical solutions to America's problems rather than platitudes. Everything they say has been manufactured for them by professional consultants. Do you really think either of them thought any of this stuff up on their own?
