Thank you for sharing with us the evidence that you have that proves Alberto Gonzalez is the most competent attorney ever. I am sure that everyone must agree with you simply because you say so rather than giving evidence as a good attorney would do, right? (sarcasm)
He has made some of the worst decisions one in his position has ever made. His undoing was the firing of those attorneys. Even high ranking GOP Senator Ernest Charles "Chuck" Grassley (R) Iowa, has stated so.
In the future, unless you state your question is sarcastic, I would suggest that you provide evidence of your statement such as that Gonzo was PROVEN to be most competent. There is no proof.

He resigned because he had to. It's not like he was going to stick around and wait to be indited (sp?) for something. They'll just pick some other ******** to replace him.

Because the Democrats are creating so much chaos that nothing is getting done...
Oh, and I'm not a registered Republican, and will be hard pressed to ever vote Democrat again. I've never seen such a bunch of idiots, with Pelosi leading the parade, and Reid bringing up the rear (how appropriate)
As for the person that mentioned why his constituents are calling for his resignation...umm....it's called politics, and most likely it's an election year for them, or they're the type that goes whatever way the wind blows, or what the latest poll says. Once in office, most politicians aren't interested in legislation, it's about getting reelected...
If we don't start electing people based on qualifications rather than if they LOOK Presidential or that he wears the right color of tie...we're in trouble.
