He semi-dove last year against Boston and fractured his wrist and missed almost all of the season. As far as a full out dive he has not. He's never going to be Torii Hunter or Andrew Jones, but then again not many will be.

As people said: He dove for a ball in a game against the Red Sox last season, and he landed on his wrist and then flipped over, twisting his wrist beneath him, giving him a bad fracture, and sending him to the disabled list for the first time in abot 6 years; that is to say, he ended his perfect attendence list.

Yes. He broke his wrist last year diving for a ball. Thats probably why he is very hesitant doing it again.

No he doesn't because if he knew how to dive he wouldn't have broken his wrist and broke down in tears and apologized for hurting himself.
