Has there ever been an administration with as high press coverage, or with as much public pressure as the current one?
No.
Remember all we can see is what the news reports. Someone in an office tells the company (CNN, FOX) what to air that day. If that person is say a democrat or a republican, what do you think they will show? I wish news would report just the facts, but sadly that is not the case. Everything now a days has an agenda.

It's like this in almost every administration...but as you know
the Media has picked on Bush ever since he won over the
Democrats so of course they are playing his resignations
up. Actually, Clinton had tons of resignations, 92 people
took the 5th or fled the country refusing to make themselves available during his trial period.
Also remember, Zoe Baird, Loni Guinier, David Gergen, Mike
McCurry and Ickles (Chief of Staff), all who resigned. How
about Craig LIvingstone whom no one admitted they hired
him (but the Media never tried to follow-up on this). Then the
Clinton incidents involving Charlie Trie, Mochtor, James
Riaty, John Huang, Billy Dale, Dayrl Jones, and Marcia Scott.
Don't forget that Vernon Jordan stated that Clinton had the
most excellent memory of anyone he'd ever known, yet Clinton
said "I don't recall" or "I don't remember" over 100 times in
Grand Jury testimony.
Put all this in your smoke and pipe it.
How quickly we forget, eh?

It's really normal, that the rats leave the sinking ship by the end of a 8 year term. What's not normal is the utter stupidity and political suicidal behavior, he hangs stubbornly on to his rats past expiration date.
It makes me think, that he maybe has Alzheimer.

Well, with as many witch hunts that are happening what do you expect. There have been over 300 since January. Would you want a job that you have to testify every day? Mis-speak and you would be 'Fitzgerald'

I'm going to have to research this again. There was one, but the administration was almost half the size that it is now and it had as many as this one.

I think that the previous administrations had similar events... this is just how it is now that the media covers everything so intensely and makes every little thing sensational.

They know the meaning of cut and run. And as they run they all cry, "This is a witchhunt! Waaaaah! Mean Democrats questioning me. How dare they?! Witchhunt waaah!"

Gonzalez----You finally did a good thing. Adios muchacho!

Not that I remember, but not to worry. All of these officials who have resigned will receive lavish government pensions, lifetime health and medical benefits, Social Security checks, and generous 'perks' that we probably don't even know about - all thanks to the generous (and gullible) American taxpayers. Bush takes care of his friends. -RKO- 08/27/07

Clinton had a few, so did Carter, Nixon, and LBJ.
