I had plastic surgery done on my face during the last war , I was scarred down the left side by the splash from a german flame thrower which killed my friend It looks fine now and I even have to shave normally , the only remnant is a scar under my left eye that they didn`t try to cover as my eye would not have been able to open properly

For every 1000 ops performed it's probably about only 5 that there are problems with. Everything that people do to their body contains an element of risk of damage, most people are fortunate enough not to have any damage as a result, others have the worst possible outcome. It's all about choice. If people choose to do unatural things to their body, then they have to accept the potential consequences - good or bad.

If it's just for vanity sake then no way, that is just pathetic, If someone has terrible scaring or something like that I can see alot more point too it.
People are just stupid these days and refuse to admit they dont look like a picture in a magazine. I bloody these people because they just help fuel the industry that applies so much pressure on everyone else.

There was a time I seriously thought about the idea of making myself more handsome through plastic surgery as I thought I couldn't attract very pretty women. However, as I grew older, I realised I wouldn't be paying good compliment to my creator if I alter my looks.

The odds are overwhelmingly in favor of those patients who have carefully selected their plastic surgeon.
Still, I'm not sure all the plastic surgery is necessary. There are some nose jobs, for instance, that are not absolutely necessary. But maybe Michael J. likes his.

Plastic surgery is never worth the risk, unless you've been in a fire or bomb blast and you need reconstructive surgery, something like that.

if its a woman who has problems w/insecurities & looking at her nothing is wrong ..shes quite pretty & then decides to have surgery over & over again this is done in vain. if its accident, burn, medical reasons i think this is the real purpose of it needing to be here...but with the slight improvements the exceptions would be weigh out in good judgement. anycase its always best to do your homework if not the risk is even greater...

i don't think it is worth changing yourself physically by way of plastic surgery (risk or no risk). I think people should be happy with who & what they are.

Oh, hell no! It's not worth the risk at all. You could be maimed for life! People need to learn to be happy the way they are.
