... assuming that 100% protection were possible.

Letting this go to vote. Many people probably don't realize what has happened since 9/11 to restrict and remove our rights. Nor do they realize what exactly Martial Law is and how bogus the entire concept is. Your rights have already been taken away under the guise of patriotism. America, we are in trouble if we allow things like FISA to be passed in congress.

NONE!!!!
No one knows when there time is, but one thing is for sure. I want to die free.
To many in our history have fought and died so that we could have freedom.
Today people act like they are so afraid that they are willing to give up anything. There are other countries who suffer many more terrorist attacks then the USA.
I am ashamed of most Americans when they buy into this terrorist scare tactics.
If the USA were really worried about the terrorist they would start with securing home.
They don't have a care about our open boarders and would let our ports go to the United Arab Emirates.
They are not trying to protect home they are trying to steal our freedom.

First of all, it's not possible to gain protection solely by giving up your rights, that is purely backwards thinking. Second, you cannot be 100% protected from terrorists. Third, we didn't "give up any rights" to protect ourselves, if anything they were taken from us, but not all of us, just some of us and we won't know who or when, or if it even happens to us at all.

I'm not voluntarily giving up any rights, and in fact I do not know if any of my rights have been violated in order to protect the country from terrorists.

Our president has taken away many of our rights and has done 0% to to protect us from the terrorists. He has in fact caused terrorism to grow and flourish upon the earth. He has done this by his invasion of Iraq, and all that has followed. He has in effect given the nation of Iraq to Al Quada. They now have an entire country at their disposal, to be used as a training ground and base camp.

There were no terrorists in Iraq before the U.S. invasion, now it is ruled by terror. Bush has taken a terrorist group, and turned it into a terrorists Army.

If you're talking about the Bill of Rights, I wouldn't be willing to give up one. The only thing that separates us from third world dictatorships, fascism, communism and religion-based terrorism is just that blessed document. Yield that and we might as well head for the hills....

None, we don’t need to give up our rights to target those most likely to commit acts of terrorism. Muslims.

Not every Muslim is a terrorist but, the overwhelming majority of terrorists are Muslim.
