That is not going to happen. This myth started in 2003 when Mars did come unusually close to Earth, and has been repeated every summer ever since. But even in 2003 it never got close enough to look like anything other than a bright star. This year Mars will not pass close to Earth until winter, and even then it won't be as close as it was in 2003.

No. Mars appeared like a very bright star in the sky in August of 2003. It did NOT look like a second moon nothing that looks like a "second moon" will be seen in the sky on August 27 2007. This is an urban legend. The moon itself will seem full and will have just begun waning.

No. This is an internet hoax. Mars will appear as it always does to the naked eye, a bright starlike object, currently close to Aldebaran in Taurus. There's a nice lunar eclipse tonight, but I think it happens before the Moon rises in India.
