The quiet game is awesome because it has muti benefits to it. Here are the rules: You tell all the kids to be quiet and the goal for them is to see who stays quiet the longest. When someone talks, they are out. I drive the church van and I play this game with the kids all the time. They love it. It becomes a competition to them, so they are willing to play, and be quiet. And it brings you peace because there will be no noise. The good thing is that when you have multiple kids that really want to win. they will be quiet for an hour if possible. God bless and enjoy the peace and quiet.

A scavenger hunt works very well. You can print one off the net or you can make your own. Just put things you'll see on your trip on it. Or the licence plate game. I printed games for car travel off the internet for our last trip and the car ride flew by. It was nice. I think I'll do it for every long trip.
